John Barlow
John has spent over 30 years in the NSW Government fleet sector. A large part of this was at StateFleet where he successfully managed the Purchasing and Disposal of NSW Government vehicles. In 2013 John left StateFleet to take up the role of Senior Manager, Fleet Operations within the NSW Department of Planning, Industry & Environment (DPIE).
During his time in DPIE, John has driven several initiatives that have resulted in significant cost savings across the department. The successful fleet optimisation strategies that John has introduced saw him awarded the 2018/19 AfMA Fleet Manager of the Year Award.
