Clare Rainbow

Business Development Manager (Amber Electric)

Clare is the Business Development Manager at Amber – working to create collaborations that drive the best experience for customers and help them to get the most value out of their battery and EV systems, while working to bring industry together to lead the energy transition. Clare recently drove the development of the ARENA project which will see Amber develop their EV smart charging and V2G solution, and help to accelerate their mission to shift Australia, and the world, to 100% renewables.  

Clare has a colourful background – with 10 years in the arts producing and touring large scale productions, and 5 years in marketing and strategy as a Client Success Director. Clare has been with Amber for 5 years and with a young family is passionate about using business to drive climate action. 

 

Kriti Nagrath

Research Principal (University of Technology Sydney (UTS)

Kriti Nagrath is a Research Principal with the Institute for Sustainable Futures, University of Technology Sydney. As an environmental scientist, her experience spans public and private sectors focusing on relevant issues of sustainability. An environmental scientist by training, her experience spans public and private sectors focusing on germane issues of sustainability and climate change. Her focus is understanding sustainability transitions looking at the role of enabling factors like policy, stakeholder engagement and sustainable finance. She is currently developing innovative pilots for accelerating the transition towards electric vehicles and electrification of transport in Australia. She has managed research studies investigating innovative approaches to integrating distributed energy resources with the grid, exploring themes of energy efficiency, demand response and network support. 

 

David Leung

Strategy Team Member (NRMA)

David is in the strategy team at the NRMA, where he focuses on the future of mobility and energy. He’s spent the last decade focused on the energy transition, with a focus on transmission and distribution network efficiency and modernisation in roles spanning strategy development, transformation operations, and asset management.

 

Michael Mills

Fleet Manager (Essential Energy)

 Michael is an accomplished asset management and operations practitioner, with over 20 of experience in a variety of maintenance and leadership roles.  

With a career spanning multiple sectors, Michael has been involved in the management of a diverse range of fleets including off-road Mining, Mobile Cranes, Civil equipment and Heavy Haulage. 

Holding mechanical trade background and a Diploma of Leadership, Michael has also completed a Leadership Development Program with Mt Eliza Business School and is currently undertaking a MBA with the University of Newcastle. 

Michael currently works in the energy sector and is deeply passionate about people, safety and the de-carbonisation of fleet.
