Understanding Vehicle Load Weight
Before you can understand the impact of weight on a vehicle you must first understand the jargon. Do you know what each of these are and how to calculate if a vehicle and or trailer is over loaded?

Carrying extra weight from accessories, cargo load and towing all affect the entire dynamic characteristics of a vehicle. Whilst vehicle performance and handling are affected by speed, weight, load distribution and road surface. Any increase or decrease in weight, increase or decrease in speed, the pitch and roll will all effect the responsiveness of the vehicle and its ability to react safely in various situations.
Beyond the explanations of weight and its characteristics we’ll showcase a world first Weight Matrix ™ software designed to allow fleet operators to test different weight scenarios incorporating different vehicles, accessories, cargo load and towing.
