Mike Branch serves as Board Member and Vice President of Data & Analytics at Geotab, where he has applied nearly two decades of experience as a data scientist, developer, and entrepreneur since joining in 2016. He leads the data and AI strategy for insights derived from over 4.7 million connected vehicles generating 80 billion daily data points, overseeing new business uses, enterprise data strategy, team development, and data privacy programs.  

Key contributions include his role in developing Altitude by Geotab (a new transportation analytics line of business), and launching Geotab’s AI analytics agent, Ace. Prior to Geotab, Mike founded Inovex, developing the Maps BI product later acquired by Geotab. He holds advisory roles on the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Future of AI Council, the Smart Freight Centre, and The Ray, holds a BASc in Computer Engineering from University of Toronto, a Master of Management in AI from Queen’s University, and is a licensed P.Eng.
