EVs, fireballs and charging…what’s the link?

Can charging an EV cause a battery fire, and what can fleet managers do to reduce their risk? Emma Sutcliffe, firefighter and director of EV FireSafe, will show you global data and real-world incidents, explain why charging connected EV fires happen and outline ways to reduce your risk and keep your fire engineer, fire agency and insurance company happier. EV FireSafe is an Australian company funded by the Department of Defence to research EV battery fires and emergency response.
