Agnes McDermott is the Country Manager – Energy Business Solutions for Ampol Group. A strategic B2B sales leader, she brings over 15 years of experience in oil, gas, and energy, with a strong focus on driving decarbonisation across Australia’s transport sector. Agnes works closely with B2B customers to support their fleet transition and broader sustainability goals, delivering tailored energy solutions that enable real progress. Her deep industry knowledge and results-driven approach make her a trusted partner for businesses navigating the energy transition. 

 

Chris Thompson 

Group Fleet Manager (Programmed)


Chris joined Programmed as the Group Fleet Manager in July 2023, having spent the better part of 30 years working in several different sectors of the fleet industry, on both the client and supplier side.

His primary role is to enhance and maintain the strategic direction of the fleet, aligning with key commercial objectives such as Zero Harm, NetZero and ROI. Chris is a member of a recently formed series of workshops to develop a pathway to carbon neutrality under a Marginal Abatement Cost Curve (MACC) model.

Chris likes to decompress by connecting with nature, towing his camper trailer to the bush, the beach, anywhere that isn’t concrete.
