Real World Testing
The Federal Government has funded the Australian Automobile Association (AAA) to conduct the Real-World Testing Program that independently tests vehicles under real Australian driving conditions and publishes the results to better inform consumers and fleet operators when purchasing new vehicles.
This session will provide an overview of Program results and explain that there is ‘no rule of thumb’ that can be followed when translating lab-based information for fuel consumption and CO2 emissions reported by carmakers into real-world performance.
