Electric Scooters – the Personal Transport Revolution

E-scooters provide a solution to what’s known as the “last mile” problem – getting the traveler through the final leg of their journey, to their destination. Besides being fun they’re a cheap, efficient and environmentally friendly solution to our urban transport problems but are they safe, are they safer then cycling and should they be included in your journey management policy? During this session we’ll hear the facts about e-scooters, what you can and can’t do with them, their cost to hire, their safety record and how their safety compares to cycling.

We’ll also review safety tips for including cycling as part of your employee wellness policies and how both modes of transport might be incorporated into your journey management plans.
